Day 3

Feel pretty good about today. Still fairly challenging. I gained quite a bit of ground on stuff I had trouble with yesterday, but and essentially stuck in some of the things I really had. Tomorrow is an off day (I'm doing a 3-1-2-1 schedule), so we'll see what Monday is like.


Starting off with decoder as usual. It would be nice if I could just click the box instead of having to click specifically on the letter. "I" is the worst.

I seem to have trouble actually hearing some of the letters. He says them pretty clearly, but I get there and I'm like "did he say 'G' or 'J'"? I was reading yesterday about how L-Mode handles auditory processing and I think some of my issues lie in there.

I can't tell if there's been an update or I just haven't run into this feature before. There's a ghost line on my level indicator. Is it my previous best? I beat in the last game and got points for it, so that's cool. Also I really must have messed up Data Room yesterday since I started with 3. Pika says "Eff em up!"

This seems way easier. I must have gotten further than this before.

Oh, ok. I think they were just warming me up. Which is very nice of them.

I think one of the hardest things about Visual data link is the time that it takes for them the flash the lights. The light is on for like a full second and then it takes its time picking the next one. The whole process stretches out the sequence, but I've started replaying it in my head every 3 lights which is a much more comfortable chunk. I can do 4 just on the shape but 5 or 6 I have to replay it once or twice.

I've been keeping in the same kind of mode. audio-audio visual-visual movement-movement. I think I might switch it up more so that I can keep it interesting.

The letters wheel one is still pretty hard. I kicked it's ass yesterday. Now it's payback. But that's alright. I've got this.

Back on the wheel. Again, finding ones that feel right but I think are wrong. I don't really enjoy trusting my feelings when it doesn't look right. I guess I'll either prove them to be trustworthy or I'll start thinking right.

Got a lot of Energy points today. I know that means I got ones above the ghosted out bar, but I don't know what that bar was. Maybe yesterday's avg? Either way, it means I'm improving, so that's cool.

Rotating panel is a breeze today.

Spoke too soon. Instincts are not working, here. I have no trouble flipping the board in all kinds of ways but for some reason one of the dots get's stuck in my head and I click on it instead of the next one.

Blind input is last. I was really happy with myself yesterday. Today has seen a lot of these kinds of reversals, though. I still think I can knock this one out of the park. Pikachu agrees.

Looks like 5 is my magic number here, but I know I can do 6.

Arrite, where's my friggin' stress ball.
