Day 12
Almost half way through! Today was a good day.
No Rotating Dots or Stabilizer today. But all 3 grids are back. That's ok...
First place on sorter. I tried a couple 7s and almost got one.
I was listening to an episode of This American Life with the them "Your Own Worst Enemy" and they talked to this pitcher who played for 10 years, pitched the winning game of a world series, and then suddenly he started pitching wild. Things like throwing behind him or just letting go when you really shouldn't. Aparently it's somewhat common and entirely psychological. Players call it "Steve Blass Disease" after the guy that was interviewed. The current thinking is that they're just thinking too much. Studies show that when you tell an athelte to think about the action (like a golf swing) while they perform it, they don't do it as well.
And my mouse cursor has gone all funny. Ok fixed it.
Nice! First place on the grid.
Sometimes if a number comes up a lot on the input panel, I confuse myself. "Was I just saying '5' because I was replaying it or did it say '5' again?" I can usually catch it on the concious level and fill it in.
I'm really crowding the board on Input. I think I'm about maxed there, but at least it isn't as frustrating.
No idea why I crashed halfway through the cube. At least I got it back.
I seem to be doing alright on data room. Getting points.
Bah. I don't get points for cube or asteroids yet. Soon...
Blind input can really goose you up if you actually try to say the pattern you're going to punch in. I do it when I can, but there's a lot that goes on.
