Day 6
Today felt good. I took less time, and I think that's pretty critical. I guess I can get kind of burned out quickly. I thought I came up with a good rotation, but that relies on putting ones that I'm good at toward the beginning and end. But those are getting harder and harder. The whole damn thing is getting harder and harder. But today I'm feeling good about it.
Alright, Week 2! I've started keeping a digital notebook that I can jump to when I have a thought. I can just put it down like I do here and if it was worth anything, I can come back to it later. The point is to just get it down and get back on track. I just started doing it yesterday, but hopefully it can become a habit. Plus its digital and I don't have to worry about taking up space. I can just have it to think about if I want.
Ooh. New game. I think I will hold off on it for right now. Today we'll start with rotating dots.
Oh, I did give blood the other day. No squeezeball, though, so I'm stuck with the one (two-halves, really) that I got. It's ok though.
Sometimes my brain remembers that the pattern was harder and when I go to put it in, it didn't seem hard enough. So I complicate it myself, which ends up being wrong.
But twice today, I've mis-caclulated a jump as not being far enough.
Playing the new game. It's fun so far, but soon it will hurt.
Haha, there was no 3. You sneaky...
Getting a new game really makes things better. First off, it starts super easy and you can just pound them out. But having a whole new thing to learn is very refreshing.
I just don't understand it. On the grid, I can do 5 just fine, but when it comes to 6, I lose the 5th one.
I think I've got a good progression listed out: Rotating Dots, Sorter, Grid, Stabilizer, 3d Grid, Input Mod, Rotating Grid, Blind Input. I'm keeping that list on the wall so I don't have to think about it again.
I've come up with a new way of keeping track of the letters and positions on stabilizer. It's really helping. I started at 3 and I'm at 7 now.
What is it about leaning forward? If I'm leaning back it doesn't seem to work as well.
So the way I remember on the input module is in pairs or triads. On the 6, it's just 2 triads (XXX-YYY); on the 7 it's 1 triad and 2 pairs (XXX-YY-ZZ). For some reason, today I'm losing that last X (ZZ-YY-_XX). That seems to be my thing today. I can remember the beginning, the middle, the end, but not the beginning of the end.
Oh friggin' finally.
Did pretty well on the rotated grid.
I'm on the blind input panel and I just realized that the rocking is nervousness.
Last 7 (assuming I get it). Let's try one quad and one triad...
I think I had it, but I wasn't used to entering a quad. One more time.
Got it!
Now 2 quads...
AWESOME
